Only a handful of doctors actually have offices in Indian River Shores, clustered for the most part in a building at the southern end of town.

But even in tourist season, most part of the town are only a 10-to-15 minute drive from the offices of the many top medical professionals located in the area around Indian River Memorial Hospital.
